My Holiday:

Kia Ora My name is Ataahua and today for this blog post I will be talking about my holiday.

Start of the holidays – I couldn’t believe that it was  the start of the holidays constantly looking at the time waiting till that school bell rings while in my last class I was shaking from head from toe in excitement knowing that the holidays will be started as soon as the clock strikes 3:15 as I was being distracted by the clock i had to just chill because I was just too excited lol.

As I see that the bell  was right about to right I was soo happy that school was finally over knowing that the sleeping in, no homework, eat whenever, drink whatever, and just to be able to chill and kick back and do whatever you want.

Everything was going amazing knowing that I would be staying up all night watching Netflix, Disney and blasting music throughout my room got a few growling’s but as if you know me I have no ears, My holiday was getting better when my dad got a call from his nephew being told that they will be coming to our house for a few days I was soo happy and filled in joy when they hung up I was so excited I even cleaned my room, cleaning up the whole house because my dads nephew has kids and their my nephews and nieces, and I love them soo much, when they arrived omg mum had already had set the table with snacks lollies chocolate and more I was so jealous because my mum never made that kind of stuff for us unless we were being payed to and lollies and chocolate with chips or popcorn would be our payment lol,

My holiday got pretty sad when they left my house well I actually had work the day that they were leaving I was so sad but they came to my job before they left to get some food for them and obviously I hit them up with the mean discounts lol, I didn’t want to let them go I started crying when they left my job honestly I was so sad wanted to go to their house, but I couldn’t because one i had work and two I had to look after my siblings and I got hoha with having a job and siblings but I still love them and my job.

After they left I kept in touch with them letting them know that I will be going to their place for the next holidays making more memories and more moments to be cherished and remembered.

Other then that my holiday was okay I want shopping with Kelsey Koni yeah we mucked around in the warehouse playing hide and seek she won obviously because she is short and she was hiding behind all the clothes and I couldn’t find her anywhere she won every damm game I was getting annoyed on how bloody much she was winning it was peing me off lol, and other then that i just worked hard for that money lol and ate heaps of food lol i hope my story didn’t bore you too much and i hope to blog you later x.

is to be from a place or grew up in that place really like how i am from Whangaroa basically.

what is your understanding of Taonga Tuku iho?

Having a taonga that your family owns or has been passed down from generations it doesn’t have to be a Taonga or an object  it can be a something like a recipe , something on your body only some people get in your family.

How do the concepts relate to the topic ?

Well me and my class have been talking and working about migrations, culture, and more and what that teaches  us is finding out where we are really from and where we originate from.

Write about what you have learnt during this topic?

I have learnt quiet a lot like about migrations i never knew what that word meant or like knew why where people  named immigrants and that is amazing for to to know what it means and why people are called immigrants.

Kia Ora so for our subject English we had an assignment Called film study, while doing that assignments we learnt all the different kind of camera shots like low angle shot, focus shot here a little example of the different Shot using Word art.

Learning all the different types of shots were pretty easy but they get harder and harder trying to remember them, People use these different types of shots in movies, short films and videos to create more scenery and more life in the movies to like see what the characters are seing in the movie,

Our teacher Whaea Annette made us watch 4 short films dust buddies, The New boy, Frosty Man and  Kung foo rugby polo so our task was to watch those shorts films and screen shot the different Shot in those short films.
